Morten (born 1966) started his career in Eltek in 1990, after having earned a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering, at North Eastern University, Boston, Mass.
He started as a test engineer, but soon ventured into sales. He became Sales Director Norway and later Global Sales Director, and, in 1998, CEO of the subsidiary Eltek Energy. In 2000, he became CEO of Eltek. Not long after, the dot com crisis set in, with its steep market downturn. Morten was front man and driver behind Eltek’s restructuring and subsequent strong growth during the coming years, until he left the company in 2007. He has been the Chairman of Eltek Holding since 2011.
Morten combines expertise in business strategy and development with hands-on experience from running a hi-tec international company, engaged in all disciplines and phases of the value chain. He has particular expertise in M&A activities, both from the financial and operational side, including integration of different business and company cultures across borders.
